Beth Davis Bio
Beth has over 25 years of experience as a professionally trained coach, facilitator, business leader and entrepreneur. After selling the business she founded and nurtured for close to a decade, she re-focused her career on coaching and developing others through the stages of the business cycle. Her coaching clients place a high value on leadership, learning, business growth and succession, life planning and design, and creating positive change. Her clients include CEOs from many industries, senior-level professionals, entrepreneurs and consultants.
In addition to providing her own coaching, Beth also collaborates with Boston-based colleagues to educate business leaders on the financial, personal and organizational aspects needed to prepare themselves and their businesses for growth and transition. As a certified transition-planning consultant, Beth guides businesspeople through the “head and heart” issues.
From 1996 to 2009, Beth was a Vistage Group Chair who facilitated and coached peer groups of CEOs and business leaders. She led Vistage groups in both the greater Boston and San Francisco Bay areas. Beth also facilitated learning groups for women-led businesses for the Cambridge Business Development Center and coached professional women at various stages of career and life transition.
Prior to her coaching career, Beth’s profession focused on marketing and sales, culminating with the founding and leadership of a multi-million-dollar commercial furniture distributorship, which designed and installed the office environments of corporate and institutional clients.
Additionally, she served in the public sector as both a Budget Director and Program Manager for several social-service agencies at the state level in Massachusetts. Beth has also been a teacher for special-needs children in Cincinnati, OH and Atlanta, GA.
Beth holds her MBA from Simmons College School of Management. She has an MS in Sociology from Northeastern University and a BS in Education from Bowling Green University.
